Hear here at The Wharf
A hearing centre with
state-of-the-art testing has taken a lease in The Wharf at Robina, leaving one final
space for sale or lease in the street-level commercial precinct.
The Hearing Aid Centre, a Gold
Coast-based family company offering 20 years’ experience, has moved into a high-profile
115sqm corner tenancy at The Wharf after committing to a five-year lease with a
five-year option.
The medically approved suite is
one of The Wharf’s five commercial spaces which are topped by two eight-level residential
towers comprising a total of 73 apartments.
The Hearing Aid Centre’s tenancy
came with a basic fit out and its lease was struck at a net rate of $450/sqm plus
GST.
The Hearing Aid Centre managing
director Narelle Reed said the central location, ease of parking, and proximity
to the Robina Hospital precinct and to public transport led the company to commit
to The Wharf.
“Robina is becoming a medical hub
and it is really convenient for people to go to a central location for their
health needs,” she said.
Mrs Reed said clients also had no
trouble finding The Hearing Aid Centre thanks to its prominent position
fronting busy Laver Drive.
“It is highly visible which makes
us easily identifiable, and we have parking at the front door.”
Mrs Reed said the The Hearing Aid
Centre was one of the first Australian centres to offer the latest version of
Aurical testing equipment.
She said the updated technology offered
speech mapping which allows family members of patients to hear exactly like
their loved one and therefore understand the condition.
“It’s a really useful training
and communication tool,” she said.
“We are very excited about the potential
for our clients in improving their hearing aid results.”
The Hearing Aid Centre leasing deal
leaves just one medically approved 88sqm space for The Wharf developer Robina
Projects Australia to lease or sell.
Robina Projects
Australia General Manager Hylton Slater said the take-up of
commercial premises and apartments in The Wharf was a reflection of the
outstanding attributes of the mixed-use precinct which shares a first-class CBDRobina
location with the adjacent corporate tower The Rocket.
“The Wharf's commercial spaces are occupied by a mix of business owners
who see great value in prime-location, central-city real estate with established
infrastructure,'' he said.
“The commercial precinct offers not only a premier property which is
close to achieving its full complement of businesses, but which has an
established yet growing surrounding customer base.”
Located on Laver Drive, one of the arterial roads connecting CBDRobina
to other parts of Gold Coast City, The Wharf overlooks Lake Lido to the east
and has a direct street line connection to The Rocket, a 16-level office
building with a street-level restaurant and retail precinct.
Accessing The Wharf is trouble-free with Robina Train Station and the
bus interchange situated across the road and Robina Town Centre, Skilled Park
Stadium and Robina Hospital all just a short walk away.
The final street-level commercial space in The Wharf also has approval
for medical use and is being marketed by Marcus Weld, of Robina Marketing
Australia.
