10,000 SQM COMMITTED
IN ROCKET HIGHLIGHTS
CBDROBINA SUCCESS
CBDRobina’s position as the
city’s eminent business district has been further bolstered this week with The
Rocket reaching an all important milestone of more than 10,000sqm of office space
now committed.
RPA General Manager Hylton
Slater said the tenanting of more than 10,000 square metres of office space in a
single development in the current macro-economic climate was an extremely positive
outcome and an extraordinary vote of confidence in CBDRobina and its all
important value drivers.
“This result is demonstrative
of the premium attributes provided by The Rocket and the strong appeal of
CBDRobina,” he said.
“In parity with robust
capital city occupancy rates, CBDRobina’s office vacancy rate is now under 7
per cent which shows the growing popularity of the business centre and all it
has to offer.”
Innovative music software
developer Guvera recently took 369sqm within the 16-level tower joining
national tenants and professional services businesses including Trilby Misso, WMS
Chartered Accountants, GHD Global and THG.
Mr Slater said the quality of
corporate tenants drawn to The Rocket was cementing CBDRobina as the most
desirable corporate address for industry leaders and knowledge based ‘new’
businesses.
“The tenants attracted to The
Rocket and across CBDRobina reflect a paradigm shift by national and new
business brands which have chosen to be based in the contemporary and
convenient business centre,” he said.
"Modern facilities with
strong surrounding infrastructure, ease of access and multiple transport
options create productive working environments and forward thinking businesses
are drawn to these areas
“CBDRobina, and in particular
The Rocket, is rapidly fulfilling its goal of becoming the Gold Coast’s blue chip corporate headquarters despite the city’s
difficult economic climate.”
Completed by developer Robina
Projects Australia, The Rocket offers 11,181sqm of A-grade office space with
only seven office spaces remaining for lease.
Mr Slater said the range of
professional services based at The Rocket was reflective of the wider CBD
Robina precinct which continued to evolve as the Gold Coast’s key retail, corporate
and health destination.
“The Rocket combines
impressive quality with a strategic location, outstanding access and proximity
to a host of important infrastructure, including the super regional shopping
centre, Robina Town Centre, rail and road transport,’’ he said.
“These factors along with The
Rocket’s A-grade quality have all contributed to our achieving the 10,000
square metre milestone, which is no mean feat in the present market.”
The Rocket has a 4-star Green
Star design rating and a 5-star Green Star Energy Improvement rating with
features including a street-level retail and dining precinct, basement parking,
four high-speed elevators, shower and locker facilities, and bike racks.
It sits at the junction of
Laver Drive and Robina Town Centre Drive, close to the Robina Train Station,
Robina Hospital and Skilled Park Stadium and just 300m from the recently
expanded Robina Town Centre.
Remaining spaces in The Rocket are available from 120sqm and are
marketed by Marcus Weld, of Robina Marketing Australia.
